now that is cool. :D i'd love to see that footage, too.

Other films, videos and paintings in the sequence include Railings, which, he says "explores the rhythmic possibilities afforded by a characteristic feature of Regency London, its railings," and Guards, which follows 64 individual Coldstream Guards as they travel in the City.
there is music everywhere — one need only find the right way to listen. cities are filled with rhythm, a very real pulse, and there's nothing quite like experiencing that beat via subtle editing. this percussion throbbing around us every second is one of the few things that makes it possible for me to stand living in the city.

there's a theatre here in san antonio, the quarry cinema, whose pa system continually emits a near-subliminal throb and hiss of unseen machinery; if you don't stop and listen you'll miss it altogether. but every so often — twice an hour or so, i think — these sounds coalesce, condense, gather speed and strength like a steam engine rolling down the tracks until the place resounds with the music of industrial technology — reverberating from every steel-plated wall and concrete pillar — and it's enough to steal your breath and knock you off your feet the first time you hear it.

that's exactly why i look forward to projects like that.
