Timeline--

I want to work on a timeline of life events, because I'm having increasing trouble remembering things like "when was my first job," "when did my parents get divorced," and so on. That's all, just pondering.

Increasingly, very little. I can usually remember about 60% of things, and as the past increases, the proportion of rememberable to non-retrievable decreases. Maybe this is how senility works.

Oh dear. You're not planning on Wiki-ing your life, are you? ;)

I had a similar thought at one point. I've already got a start on mine as an Excel spreadsheet. Then I just need to add some VBScript to convert it into a pretty web page.

I have some of those; I use them to color in the numbers on old dice.

Its always good to keep track of such things. I used to log daily occurences in spiral notebook. I've always wanted to keep a timeline though. Its easy to keep track of less than 2 decades, but once the decades start to accumulate, things get hairy. At leastI have a damn good memory. I don't know what Jeff would do without me!
