easy-peasy Flickr question--

How do you post/link an image from flicker into LJ so that it shows the image instead of a link? Is it some variation of the img src tag?

Correct. You just use the url of the photo just as you would if it was a picture on your personal webpage. (I copypaste the url when I"m at the picture.)

There's also the option of saving the picture directly to LJ if you just wnat to show it here. LJ has its own pic-hosting now.

I don't like the LJ system--it's cludgy, and I'm somewhat familiar with Flickr already!

Little easier way of doing it:

Find a photo you want to post, and click on it. From there, click the "all sizes" option right above the photo.

Find the size you want to post, and click on that (whether it be small, medium, large, or original).

At the bottom of the page, there is a "Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage" box. Copy the text in that box, and paste it in your LJ.

It will put the image in your LJ, and hotlink it to the photo on your Flickr account, like this:

Hehe, what I didn't say was that I had to ask somebody how to do it, first. On LJ. Way back when. *^.^*
