Whoof! One of those sleepcycles...

I drove down to Whines's office to carpool with him down to my mom's house, with the vain hope of doing some more Excel work with mom. She's taking a l-o-n-g time to master the basics of cut-and-paste, and I'm almost afraid of moving on to higher-level "inserting". *sigh* That didn't happen, they'd let their computer go without ever having an update or a spyware scan, so Whines spent most of the evening updating Windows.

Then, we drove home. Directly home. The astute among you might see the problem I overlooked.

Got up this morning a bit late, because I was wearing earplugs and didn't hear the snooze alarm...twice. Stumbled out of bed, and before I'd even had time to figure out how put on a towel, mom was calling me for tech support. Twice. So the very narrow window of time I give myself to get ready for work was spent on calls, until I finally hung up, found my pants and shirt, and stumbled outside, where I spent a minute trying to figure out what the hell happened to my car.

Wheee! Well, it's likely to get better from here. It's not guaranteed, but it's likely :)

On a lighter note, Hershey Kisses now come in "Neopolitan" flavor. I think I'll avoid that...

haha! I feel your pain. My mom is now learning how to send emails on the new computer I bought her. The catch.. she lives across the country and can't even use a VCR.
