Bibles for Nigeria?

That was an interesting scam--Nigeria wants your large-print King James bibles.

I actually had to stop on that one, because I work with a Christian bookstore sometimes and actually could concievably provide such a thing.

Huh. Spam never ceases to evolve.

How can they get money from people that way, I wonder? How does this scam work?

From experience, there's a big black-market bible trade. So, it's possible--I imagine there's a lot of financial entropy in that system, but they're decent trade goods.

We used to get this one at BookPeople. They buy a given book with stolen credit cards, then turn around and sell it. It's about that simple. One of my coworkers was busily packing up boxes of shirts one day, until he and I looked a little harder at the order form
Once, I got another guy to give me about twenty-five credit card numbers, which I turned around and reported as stolen, before he figured out that I wasn't going to send him books.
Good times.

Did you just keep saying "no, that card won't work, try another?" That's clever.
