Wherever there was a smal nick in the paint or a scrape of some sort in the office, they have applied a big smear of whitewash. I don't know why. It looks like the entire building got poison ivy and had to have calamine lotion liberally applied.

Hopefully, this means they are fixing to paint everything soon. Or, they are trying to generate random patterns for those employees who mostly stare at the walls. Or covering up deadly molds...

Maybe it's actually a archetectural styptic pencil, used because the walls were bleeding. THAT would be worth getting worried about. Scratch some off and check for a scab beneath.

At my apartment complex, white putty applied to a half-inch dent in the wall means "We won't be doing anything else to fix this dent this year".
