I've never had a little office party before :) Teresa, the woman whose job I currently have and whose birthday cake I made almost a year ago, made me a "Spongebob Squarepants" cake (from a box, but she probably couldn't help that.) And my former supervisor gave me a talking Spongebob character, and everybody sang one of two versions of "Happy Birthday" in lovely four-part discord. It's so nice to work with people that actually give a damn :)

Spongebob? *shrieks in horror and flees*
The gesture was nice though. Oh yeah, Happy Birthday! ^-^

I'm with you on the spongebob horror, but there's kind of an underground Spongebob thing happening. I don't get it.

The Spongebob conspiracy has spread farther than that, I'm afraid. It seems like everyone in my school watches the show or owns some sort of Spongebob-themed trinket or apparel.
And when I go shopping, that hideous yellow face is to be seen past every corner and amongst every aisle. ugh...

Awww--they got confused, and TWO people sent around the usual "everybody sign!" cards. One of them has a very scary doggy on it.

Lions, hyenas and sponges, oh my.
It's nice to see camaraderie and humor still exist in some offices. Happy preemptive birthday, Spotty!

Yes! Early Happy Birthday! (Just in case I manage to stay away from the computer tomorrow).

Thank you thank you! I'm sorry I missed your call :( I was providing an extended base line for Wiccans, and left my cel phone in the car.

Okay, I'll bite.

Why Spongebob? I thought Veggietales were more your alley.

I really have no idea. I don't particularly care for, or about, Spongebob, but there's kind of an underground office Spongebob cult. That's one of the more socially acceptable weirdnesses.
