OMG pancakes, job interview

Whew! Pancake night last night went very well. Ashtaar brought butter pecan waffle batter, which was tasty, d_deviant brought flavory pancakes of his own but I never got around to cooking those. And thoink_dragon brought some delicious, home-made toasted coconut brown sugar syrup. Made what felt like dozens of buttermilk pancakes, mostly with blueberries, and a bunch of waffles. Got to wrap up my personal snackery with a waffle topped with whipped cream and coconut syrup, it was very good! Coconut and caramel are my two big dessert flavor weaknesses, and this syrup did both of them pretty well. Thank you to everyone that came--let's see if I can remember them all! Deviant, Ross, Ashtaar, Lhexa, Cebu, Thoink, Dev Raccoon, Tanukisan, Mahadri, Fyre (well, he lives there, but he helped, too), Whines (he ALSO lives there...) [edit, oh, and Trist, who slipped my memory entirely...]

And sorry to the people that couldn't make it...I felt bad holding the pancakenacht so close to the furry con, but...international pancake day, you just don't mess with an important national observance.

Wheee! Off to a job interview! A food service consortium in south Austin is looking for a marketeer to help them...duties mostly include spreadsheets and organization, but some occasional setup and cooking for shows :) Could potentially be fun!

Pretty well, actually, I think I had a good rapport with the team I was interviewing with. Food + Marketing = good conversation.

I THINK I just got offered a job by mom's project, as well, but it's hard to say as they have no money right now. Hmm...I don't know what that's worth. It's a very hard thing to judge.
