Unemployment, mood-eating, and a run of home-made desserts has left me with a waistline of a slowly increasing nature. So, back on South Beach, which is a nice, heart-friendly diet anyway.

I'd ooched my way up to 191, which is higher than I'd ever gotten. The first week on the south beach (and most low-carb diets, pretty steady loss of about a pound a day. It's not "real," but it's still nice.

Tip: It all starts with cutting back on the sweets and desserts. Take a big glass of water or an apple instead, that will statisfy your need to eat. :)

Maaaybe...I have a bigger weakness for breads and pasta tho. *generally* I don't need dessert, but I've been making a lot of them for friends and church functions lately.

I heard a good way to lose weight is to not eat.
