Yeah, I don't know who he is either, but with a name like Oleomargarine...wow. Such a name commands respect, admiration, a toasted english muffin.

For the food critics
Oleo is a fat substitute, that gives the runs. I think they took it off the market.

No, that was Olestra. Oleo's actually a slightly outdated word for margerine (or oil, more generally). I just find its use as a proper name, well, charming really.

Olestra, BTW, is still on the market. They're still around. I think their current slogan is:
