Re: Previous entry--

It is, of course, difficult to express the emotional roller coaster that is my relationship to MS Excel.

"They must feel the thrill of toting up a balance book
A thousand ciphers neatly in a row
When gazing at a graph that shows the profits up
Their little cups of joy should overflow"

--Mary Poppins, "A British Bank"

There's no way to go about automating what this red ruby slippered woman desires?

Depends--I'm comparing two totally unlike sets of different numbers of lists to see if they're vaguely similer in places where they sorta kinda contain like parts, mostly. And the lists have to stay in order. I can't think of any logic fuzzy enough to handle that sort of madness. There isn't a sort or anything that would really do it. I could probably work out a pattern, but with my level of technical expertise, it would take three hours to build, and two hours to just grit my teeth and do the comparison by hand :(
