Most of the recent car problems went away when I added a quart of transmission fluid to the mix.

W00t.

Transmission fluid is BLOOD RED. It looks like stage blood from a low-end horror flick.

Transmission fluid costs money.

But I have a *lot* of stage blood in my closet.

Hmmm....

If what is in there is blood red, then it is already wearing. It should come out of the bottle an unnatural pink, go red as it wears, and then be brown when it is too dirty to be worth a damn.

It probably would not hurt to check the levels on all your car's fluids once a month. Besides, it'll add manliness points, maybe enough to offset the Abba and Vengaboys soundtrack

It was probably an unnatural pink, but it was a bit dark out, so it might have looked red. I'm in the weird position of trying to decide if I want to maintain my car, or try to get into an accident and claim the insurance on it.

Does routine maintanance add points? Certianly, if you do it yourself and get grease up to the wrists, but what if you take it to a shop? I need a judge's opinion on that.

Eh, my audit's shot this month anyway.

I'll give you 50% for remembering to check the fluids, but getting a shop or Badger to do them doesn't get you the other half.

Somehow, I am not surprised. You could costume a legion of people with your belongings, couldn't you?

As long as they're not too picky about what they're wearing...

Doesn't everyone? That's what after-Halloween sales are *for*!

Well, actually, that's what managing a halloween store is for :)
