Christmas at ground zero--

Tuesday evening! The doors are open at 6:00--come help us decorate the tree, spike santas in the front yard, and sing christmas carols, or JOHN WILL GET US!!! :)

Butterfly and I are, let's face it, Grinches. But we've just lost our rabid Christmas freak, and we have to put up the holiday cheer, or...well, if vengeance from beyond will happen, it'll certainly happen if we don't have a tree.

Y'all are more than welcome to come over, the doors are open! Please bring eggnoggy cookie stuff or tacky lawn ornaments.

A favor, for those who read all the way through my posts--can anyone find info on the "launch your loved one's cremains into space" service? We'd be willing to pay quite a bit for this one.

Not very helpful, but I think they're Houston-based (which makes sense). Timothy Leary went that route, so adding him to your keywords on a Google search might help.

John was one of my friends I could always count on to Trek geek out with me. :(

The company atalantapendrag is thinking of is Celestis.

There's a good Wikipedia article about the process, too.

Is it safe to presume you mean Tuesday the 21st, not Tuesday in a couple of days?

Hmm? No, I mean tuesday in a couple of days. We may do a later Christmas party, I don't know, but this is a "decorate the house before John comes back to torment us" thing, and needs to be done soon!

Very, very soon. I already have my alarm clock acting funny. It turned itself onto some strange, perky tune while I was playing the Sims 2. More than once.

Yes. I suppose it would have behooved me to read all of your posts since Friday before I responded to one. *sigh* Scratch what I just wrote in regards to the latest post, and change it to "I'll see if I can make it - supposed to clean my apartment on Tuesday and Harmoni's house on Wednedsay - got a guest coming over Thursday to my place and a party at her place Friday." Urk. Too much to do!

Space Services (aka Memorial Space Flight)

The cutoff date for the next Memorial launch is a couple of weeks past, but that's not always firm. It's worth a call, anyway,

The first one offers one option for complete cremains, and another for a 100 gram, symbolic sample.

All my knowledge about this stuff is pretty old, and I haven't read these sites thoroughly. Hope this helps, though. :-)
