In the men's room, over the toilet, there are great rings of light paper.
They are marked "Provided by the management for your protection."
That's very generous, I thought, and took the box home with me.
I have not found what they protect against, or what they abjure.
I burned both my thumbs quite badly when I used them as a hot pad. The neighbor's dog bit me soundly, though I had one pinned to my shirt. And they are not quite wide enough to wear in the car, should I be involved in a traffic accident.
I returned them, with a thank you note, respectfully telling them that I appreciate their concern, but in the future, would like more clarity in my instructions.
