Of COURSE he's a figurehead.

But Dubya isn't even a good figurehead. Now, Christoper Walken, HE's a good figurehead. Oh, wow. I hope this isn't a put-on. I'm pretty sure that voting for someone because he's extremely cool is about as valid as because he's been in a church.

Christopher Walken and Kinky Friedman.

Kinky's a little bit frustrating, right now. I'd like to vote for him--not because I'm particularly annoyed with Texas Democrats, but because Perry is so utterly odious and uses the Christian religion in a shameless way. But Kinky's going to split the vote :( *Sigh* WHY can't the political process make sense?

I always thought our country could use a little more cowbell.

We need a president who puts his pants on one leg at a time, just like the rest of us...and then he MAKES OUTSTANDING EXECUTIVE DECISIONS! :)

No, we clearly need a president who can fly! And dance!

I'm sure parlimentary systems have thier own problems, but I'd love to experience them for a change. I'm not holding my breath waiting for this to happen though.

The Republicans thought Ronald Reagan was a great figure head. We all know he was never actually the President.

Friedman is everything cool about Austin wrapped up in one guy. Texas needs more gun-toting-gay-vegetarian-animal-rights-supporting-poet-singer-song-writer-Jewish politicians.
