Request--weird/fun MP3s?

Hey, all--my radio at work has been cut, so all I have is--well, somehow I still have access to my college radio station, which is *something,* at any rate.

If anyone would be willing to burn me a disc of MP3s, I'd be very grateful. I'm not a fan of jazz/metal/industrial. Most of my favorite music is folk/British, perky, "outsider music," weird off-the-wall stuff, funny stuff, novelty records, pagany, and "similer."

If you wouldn't mind sharing your collection, I'm terribly bored at work, I only have my limited collection of music.

I've got a lot of unusual stuff, most of which was downloaded off the web from small would-be bands and demos for musical instruments. A lot of it is electronica, but not all.

I like experimental stuff and some electronica, though when it starts to hit the hard base, more demonic techno sound, it starts to turn me off. I'd be interested in anything, though. The college radio station is currently engaged in a Tehano/Latin Music marathon, and I'm feeling non-fiesta-compliant. *shudder*

No upbeat heavy beat dance techno (i.e. caffeine for your ears)? I'll see what I can find. I have some country/folkish type music, some ketik, some foreign language, and a wide range of electronic instrument music.

NOW you've asked for it :)

You'll need to email me and give me an address to mail to.

And I think I can make you a neat mix of fun and celtic rock. I hunt high and low for silly stuff to use in puppet shows.

"Gee, um, how deep does this elevator go?"
"Down to the center of the Earth, Wes. Down where Microsoft has enslaved a race of mole people, and they are hard at work creating the next generation of Windows."

Hmm--I'm not sure if my e-mail went through, so I'm at 9801 Chukar Circle, Austin, 78758.

Try getting some Mouse On Mars, if you haven't heard 'em yet. Best German electronic group around.

I think that I'll be putting some random CDs together for you then. I'm a collector of some of the most random audio files out there. You're going to have to wait until after the move though. Moving kinda takes precidence over you.

I will both make sure to make you a CD or two, and make sure to misspell precedence again. >.> Woo, moving is going to be fun. x.x

Hee hee...I'll burn you some stuff the next time I'm at John's (and therefore have access to a burner). You realize, however, that it'll be a total grab bag. I'll like all of it, but.....

Well, I know we at least share the "brit/folk" thing, so I'm not afraid :)

I'll throw something together for you... it should be an eclectic assortment.

It'd be very much appreciated :)

Wasn't goning to commit, unless I actually was going to do it. So, I did it, copied lots-o-mp3s on a disk and got it to the post office. Yay me.

I trust you enjoy the collection.
