[fades] browns and reds

My mom is picking up a '92 Saturn for me in the morrow. The exterior is shiny white, undented and unscratched, the interior is blue velvet and smells of little old lady (a smell which I do not like, but my family insists is compatible with my personality). Price: $1000. Milage: 72,000. It's one of those only driven back and forth to church things. The old lady is probably dead, so it may be haunted. Sweet :)

My sister, who had her car totalled in an accident the other day, will be driving it around for the forseeable future, as she is disincarred and owing to Butterfly I have loaned wheels. But still, as of tomorrow, I'll technically own a car again :)

Hmmm...I wonder...

Thinking about my potential Saturn and the "seats five if they're REALLY friendly" back seat, I'm wondering--over the history of the American automobile, is there any increase in the American birth rate comensurate with the size of the back seat of the current model cars?
