It is done!

Although I found out I used a *near* duplicate for "calm" and "mellow," I can fix that maybe the next time they add an emotion or something. Whew! The custom mood theme editor interface is SO FRIKKIN cludgy, I had to enter in almost every icon twice before it would recognize it. Argh :) Done!!

How do you make a custom mood set?

The FAQ has good directions, they boil down to make a bunch of images (you don't have to make EVERY image because LJ does some reasonable substitutions, like "use happy for cheerful if cheerful doesn't exist". Load the images to a server that allows off-site downloading, and then use the automated cludgematic editor at the FAQ or the command-line interface to direct LJ to them. The hardest part is making the images :)

eeeee...yes, but a bit frustrating toward the end! There's like 140 moods...

Happy AND scared AND sad.

Problem solved.

Let nobody say that you're not an obsessive critter

To the best of my knowledge, nobody does!

There's something wrong with things when your mood icons are bigger than your userpics.

Well, I really can't argue with that--any smaller and I started losing detail. My only real defense is that I only use LJ moods about one post in five.
