More on the pink bunny--

Well, I can't find anything concrete about the giant pink bunny--nothing to prove that it's a hoax, nothing that wasn't released by the art group Gelatin to prove otherwise. Problem is, it's in a region of italy that Google Earth's satellite telemetry doesn't update often.

Decomposition is part of the artwork, according to the project website.
"ears and limbs sneaking into the distance; from its side flowing heart, liver and intestines.
Happily in love you step down the decaying corpse, through the wound, now small like a maggot, over woolen kidney and bowel.
Happy you leave like the larva that gets its wings from an innocent carcass at the roadside.
Such is the happiness which made this rabbit.
i love the rabbit the rabbit loves me."

Kind of creepy. Anyway, I tried to find an article on the rabbit, I found several, but they have traces of press release in them. Here's one that I found. I used Google Translator to take it out of Italian.

I'm not sure it helped, but it's an interesting read after Google Translator :)

To Artesina Pink Rabbit, the rabbit arrives larger rose of the world

To go for mounts reserves always some surprise. Distances never notice to you before, strange noises. With a little fortune, some wild animal can itself also be met. But of sure to nobody never it is capitato of imbattersi in a giant rabbit. And for reached rose, tonality hygienic paper, for the precision. At least until today. Soft and most colorful, the extra rabbit large unfortunately is hurt on a flank. And only abandoned, invisibile from the feet of the mount, it is destined to always remain to Artesina in order. It will complete here, in Hush of goes them, its "vital cycle" in unforeseeable way. All, comprised the craftsmen of this bizzarro plan, ignore as it will be between a pair of months or a year.

But from where arrives this unknown work of art? And above all, cos' it is? A sculpture, an installation or a work of art acclimatize them? "Pink Rabbit" is born from an idea of the Gelatin, a group of artists Austrians accustoms to astonish to you with unforeseeable and clamorous actions. Pack-saddles to remember that in the 2000 they are resolutions to force the vetrate ones of the iper technological - and super sealed World Trade Center di New York and to construct an illicit balcony, from which enjoying an exclusive right seen on the Great Apple for an entire day.
