Raising imprecision to a precise art form--

I'm on hold with Mercury Insurance right now.

When I first called them, the TormentoBot 3000 said "All of our customer service representatives are busy right now--the next available care representive will be with you in approximately three seconds."

Wow.

Of course, by "approximately three seconds" they meant "somewhere past five minutes," but I was amazed at their tight estimate.
