Lion update--

My boss came in and un-crucified the lion she gave me.

See previous post, "Simba died for my sins," wherein my boss, under the semi-mistaken impression that I liked lions, bought me a little magnetic lion, which I put in a long-suffering, paws-extended legs-crossed pose. She fixed him so that he's staring at me and crawling down the side of my filing cabinet.

Oh yes. I knew you had lions looking down at you. I forgot about the crucifiction pose. I was thinking of thumbtacks or something, and got confused.

I have all Christmas lights around my office now. And nutcrackers. Hee. Not as much fun as Halloween stuff, but I do like nutcrackers. Especially ones that are very small or insanely huge.

Simba died for your . . . lunch?
I'd suggest getting a whole troupe of magnetic animals and a couple of sets of mag letters and putting them together in the classic the Madonna looking up with the cup (put in a beer stein or a coffee cup), the apostles hanging around, the guy with the spear, etc and make the caption something like ' died to save us from layoffs' or something equally dumb and trite.change one detil every other day until it becomes a rather vicious parody of itself and gets blood thirsty.

That is all.

Hmm. This casts a pall over the adding of four additional weapon-holding arms to the little guy.

Took a bit longer than three days. Consider yourself lucky, though; by all rights the lion should now be free to invade your citadel and breath life back into all your statues.

Heh. Thank you, October, I don't think I would have come up with that :) I'd hate to have my beanie babies on the loose. Or worse, the stuffed wooly mammoth. Of course, it's only a 1' tall mammoth...right now.

Plush to Flesh should restore it to its natural size, though.

Arrgh... What an idea.

Plush to Flesh would be a mighty dangerous spell round these parts. Teddy bears can be vicious.

Argh--okay, that's two now :) Who is this?
