From the Quackery Files--

(emphasis mine.)

ORGONE is an invisible, naturally occurring, life-giving form of energy that permeates the universe.

Experiments have shown that exposure to a concentration of orgone can dramatically improve one's health and well-being. In order to achieve the required concentration of orgone it has been necessary to meditate within the confines of a lead container known as a Faraday Cage which filters out all forms of unwanted energy. For reasons not yet clear, however, it has been recently shown that a good stout wardrobe works equally well as a Faraday Cage, so ensuring the benefits of orgone are within the reach of most people. Every evening for the past three weeks I have spent a couple of hours meditating inside a wardrobe that has been emptied of its contents.

Already I feel huge benefits from this regime and I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has followed a similar course of action.
Hee hee...

I imagine Freud bitch-slapping this person and telling them they are merely replicating the state of being in the womb...

...not to say I'd agree with Freud either! :p

So what they're saying is spending lots of time hiding in the closet will make you healthier? ;)

It's very much about the tight, enclosed places, yes :) One questions whether, "For reasons not yet clear", a car, cardboard box, office cubical, or, indeed, a wide, open plain, would be as efficacious as an orgone capacitor.

We need to do dinner or something soon, it's been far too long!
