Overheard on Dubya's press conference--

[Reporter] "With all due respect, Mr. President, Nancy Pallozi (sp?) has called you incompetent, a liar, the emperor with no clothes, and as recently as yesterday, dangerous."

With all due respect?

Oh, and his grammar is MUCH worse when he's under stress...

My thoughts exactly...he could barely phrase a sentance when he was under fire. Totally flabbergasted. Then again, they did kinda expect to retain the majority in this last election, not lose it. So, yeah.

As for that question...I was driving at the time, and could barely stay on the road 'cause I was laughing so hard.

And, its Pelosi, I think.

Well, there's not an awful lot of respect due...

No more Republican majority in the House, possible tie or even a Democratic majority in the Senate, and no more Rumsfeld. At least we might slow down the strip-mining of our freedoms, neh?

With all due respect

That's one of those phrases that's so brilliantly ironic, of course no one ever uses that phrase when they actually respect the person they're speaking to or referring to ;?)

Beauty? Nancy needs to further her political career so she can afford more facelifts.

Yeah, I noticed that, too.

My co-workers were concerned with all my english-degree twitches that they almost started taking anti-siezure precautions.
