Work, work, work...

Work's starting to ease up into a nice, calm pattern, which I'm thankful for. I'm taking most of the duties of my trainer, so he should be able to move on soon to greener pastures. I think that, right now, if he dropped everything or got hit by a, well, just hypothetically, white 1992 Saturn with a "rainbow Texas" sticker on the back, which hypothetically ran over him a few times to make sure the job was done properly, I could probably do my work by on my own if I asked a LOT of questions.

My last minor episode--the new job's inventory control, so I'm going to be placing a lot of orders. Sometimes these are orders that go directly to the manufacturer, but other times they're projected/forecast orders to help bookkeeping.

These forecast orders tend to change a lot over time, quantities get increased, deadlines get pushed back. So every month or so he updates all the forecast orders, handing this one girl a list of changes for her to add to the database.

It's a 400-line list. He HANDS it to her.

Backward people! *beats with cluestick*

I'm thinking I understand why they transferred me to Inventory instead of downsizing me. There are subtle clues.
