House twitching--

Whoof. We'll be able to see that big house going for $165000 this Friday. Or maybe this Thursday, I'm not sure. They've lowered the price to under $155K (because of cat damage...) We'll see, we'll see. But real estate stress...oi!

A better price because they have a damaged cat?!

Well, it seems to be incontinent, that's a form of damage.

Very true. So that damage, caused the damage to the house, thus the discount.

I love when a smartass question turns out to be answerable.

Oi. Well, I can always go back to deep-frying for a month or two. It may take a year off my life, but that kind of of food takes all kinds of smells out of a house...and replaces them with fry-smell...

cat damage? is that when you have a spinster squared and she fills it too full of cats and it bursts things?

I want to know why you are STRESSING over this. No one is forcing you to buy a house nor is it a requirement. You have the cash, you are approved, all you have to do is find something you like! Its not supposed to be stressful; Looking at them is the fun part.

(I may also be vicariously upset your actually worring due to my failure to acchive viable loan due to current market and frickin credit.. So at least you can do it, be happy, damnit.)

Well...I'm stressing over it because it's a major life change! Plus, there's the potential for the tenant to majorly screw us over. Plus, the waiting is really hard for me, you know I'm not the most patient person in the known universe.

I'm really sorry about this mortgage market thing for you :( It's really hitting people with middling credit in the stomach, and they're the people that need the most help. I know there are low-income government aid programs...they might be worth looking into, but they're going to probably be stretched during this period :(
