Corporate branding--

In order to raise customer awareness of the new corporate branding and the company's new identity and positioning within the field, we're being issued, I think it's probably swag merchandise right now, but usually Sales team members are gently "asked" to wear this sort of thing, skin-tight uniforms with the brand logos and subsidiary company identifiers silkscreened across the chest, and flowing "Harcourt Blue" capes. My department does more coordination rather than actual sales, so there's usually a six-month lag before dress regulations affect us, but it's a matter of time.

I'm trying to figure out if your jokeing or not. You can never be sure though, no one knows what the creative team o' monkeys that these large corporations have are capable of..

Re: O.o
Most of the company's from New England area, they've got some climate differences. I've seen the new outfits--cotton/poly blend, effectively stretch denim. That's not going to work down here. Great way to kill off sales reps, which I'm all in favor of, though. Ever since the Texas sales rep got my extension, I've known no peace.

Great, now all you need are some radioactive sales reps and you're all set.

Bitten by a radioactive HR manager, he became The Company Man! Through the power of the Seven Corporate Values and a strong brand image, The Company Man was able to represent the corporate ideals of Integrity and Boundarylessness without compromising his unique identity as a valued employee!

(Spotty, are you alright?)
(Just...hit an air pocket there...)

(Spotty, "Boundarylessness" isn't a word!)
(DON'T YOU THINK I KNOW THAT?!? *pant, pant*)

I think we all need to see a picture of a stretch denim uniform, particularly if they've had the sense to add a cape to it.
I like the idea of the cape becoming accepted corporate practice. Hell, I want one, and I want the kid serving me at MacDonalds to have to wear one. Particularly if it will enable him to fly. Yeah...
