Could be they are going for truth in advertising. If you're gay you wouldn't want *any* 'chicks' and zero chicks is exactly what their product will get you.
Well, that's technically true, but in most common usage, gay is seperated from lesbian. You're correct, tho--and I'd argue that popular usage seperates them, but of course that's filtered through my warped and twisted perceptions.
Oh, definately--but in my defense, the entire gay rights movement makes the same distinctions (many gay rights groups, while they're happy saying "gay rights," will use the phrase "gay and lesbian" in their titles, and the typical acronym to describe das queers is "LGBT" (lez/gay/bi/trans), though I usually spell it GBLT, because I like sandwiches.
