Made ice cream using the anise hyssop in the front yard. Quite tasty! The licorice-anise flavor was very subdued--it was definately there, but you had to squint to see it. Weirdly, the overall flavor was much more strongly macadamia nut or almond, somewhere between the two. It was a very pretty shade of delicate green.
The long weekend was a really long weekend! I'm not going to cook until like Thursday :) It was nice to see people, particularly the out-of-towners that we don't get to see too often. Something about the dynamic didn't fly so well this weekend, though, not a lot of social time. We'll see if that changes next time.
