This Sunday at First Unitarian Church, on Grover near 49th and Burnet, is our big annual "what's going on at the church" event. This is a Unitarian Universalist church, which means they don't believe anything specific, we've got athiests, pagans, and a bunch of others.
There's going to be about 60 different book study groups, social action and social justice groups, lunch groups, church committees...if you've ever been moderately interested in going to a church that won't judge me because I'm (pick one, or more: gay, not religious, made my own religion/worship Pelor, want to find a spiritual path without having anyone else tell me what it was, just like mythology, hate NeoConservatives...) this would be a particularly good Sunday to attend. It will NOT be a good day to have a long conversation with me, as I'm going to be running around like a madman, but it's going to be my church at its best.
