For the love of god, save the ducks :(

There's a big, silly-looking manmade lake nearby, with ducks in it.

Coyotes are threatening the ducks.

The HOA is trying to figure out how to get the coyotes killed or trapped.

Coyotes, IMO, are MUCH more interesting than ducks. Ducks are not entertaining, they're ingredients.

People assume 'yotes will eat their children too usually, I've found. And the yappy dogs and outside cats that people who belong to HOA invariably own.

Yes, there was some threat of them eating children. Really, sounds like Darwin in action. That seems somewhat unlikely, unless your children hang out with ducks a lot in the middle of a field.

Yotes DO eat small yappy creatures occasionally, I can't argue with that. Except that I really don't like the neighbor's chihuahuas, and would, again, prefer yotes.

Several coyotes MIGHT attack a toddler if it was left wandering about with nobody else around. But if people are leaving their toddlers wandering about with no supervision they deserve them to be eaten.

And I'm with you on the chiuahuas. Most annoying dogs ever.

Pretty ridiculous, when you consider that the coyotes are part of the native wildlife, and the ducks are likely not! Silly humans!

We got coyotes in our 'hood too, and all the city can do is try to trap 'em if they get too fearless and warn people not to leave pets and pet food outside. Sheesh.

Coyote rescue!!!!
There is an Austin based Coyote rescue. They don't play well with others(so I've heard from when I worked with cocker rescue) but, they do exist. I don't have their number, but I'll look for it.

Coyotes ate a lot of cockers until she poisoned the coyotes, too. But, that was in Manchaca and we can't be sure if they were coyotes or raccoons, no one CSI'd it.
