The second time in five years, and the second time in seven days, almost to the hour. Argh. Pop-a-lock says they have better customers than me, people who have managed to lock their keys in while the lock-poppin pimp-daddy is leaving the parking lot.

Damn, I could have bought another game book with that $35.

On the other paw, I found a really cute stuffed cougar for sdocat. After I lost his phone number.

Does anyone want an IQ? I'm not using mine this week...

Today, I will be a 4.

Oh dear. That really sucks.

Hopefully your memory will soon be VERY GOOD as a result.

My phone number is 979-968-8038.. wait.. let me check if thats right.. Yay! Chii remembers!

Stuffed things? Ohhhhh! I was in Austin yesterday and tried to call you twice. Out from your cave, I say! Put the bone down.. thats it.. I'd like your IQ for a couple of days! Here, you can have mine. It's a 5!

(No, I don't worry about posting my phone number on LJ. Maybe I'll get more phone calls that way. Even if they are dirty in nature.)

depending on the kind of car you have.. as long as it's not one of those fancy-schmancy German flip-out key + remote-lock-thigies or a computerized key, they sell these little plastic cards, same size as as crid card, that's essentially a plastic envelope. you cut a spare key for your car. slip it in the envelope, put the envelope in your wallet, and forget about it.

Then, when your brain malfunctions and you experience the ignisecond (IG-nih-sek-*nd: 'n' The moment when, even as your hand is closing the car door, your mind is screaming "My keys are in there!" (from Sniglets, by Rich Hall)) you can pull your spare key from your wallet in your pocket and have no social stigma attached to your bad self.

Of course, for $35, you could probably get a basic AAA membership and they'd come slim-jim your car for free.

Just to speak in Spotty's defense... he does have a past history of keeping spare car keys in his wallet. ;)
