I was playing in the sea, diving down under the water to look for shells and suchlike, and I noticed that when I was near the sea floor, I kept hearing this high-pitched chiming, like a set of crystal windchimes, or those silver spheres they made in the late eighties with the delicate little ringing sound when you shook them. At first, I thought it was something like tinnitis (spelling?) The pressure causing me to hear something that wasn't there. But then I noticed that even when I was near the surface, I was still hearing this strange sound, like Disney's Tinkerbell, little fairy chimes. Why did the ocean sound like fairy chimes?
As it turns out it was just the sound of the rabies tags I was wearing jingling together under the water. I was a little disappointed, but it was still a neat effect.
