Growl--

Churches have a strong tendency to be all the same. I was *going* to tell the children a story early in the service tomorrow--I've done most of the prepwork, just needed to flesh it out a bit. Unfortunately, they preempted it for a puppet show--not the Wiccan scheduling the service.

Backstory--the main meeting area of the Unitarian church is "Howson Hall," a large, bare area that used to be the sanctuary.

So, the puppet show the church staff has elected to wedge into the service, "Harry Potter and the Secret of Howson Hall."

This is the service the Pagan group is putting on. Very irritating.

I'm still playing didj and feeding people, so there's a strong "let's meet people!" vibe still happening, but I'm not pleased with the overall turn.
